RESOLUTIONNO.12-19:RATIFYINGTHE2018INTERNATIONALFIRECODEASAMENDEDANDADOPTEDBYTHEESTESVALLEYFIREPROTECTIONDISTRICT(EVFPD)WHEREAS,theEstesValleyFireProtectionDistricthasadoptedthe2018InternationalFireCodeIncludingAppendicesandAmendments(the“FireCode”)fortheregulationandgovernanceofconditionshazardoustolifeandpropertyfromfireorexplosionandprovidingforcertainpermittingofsuchusesandoperations;andWHEREAS,Section32-1-1002(1)(d)C.R.S.providesthattheFireCodeadoptedbytheEstesValleyFireProtectionDistrictshallnotapplywithinthecorporatelimitsoftheTownofEstesParkunlesstheBoardofTrusteesoftheTownadoptsaresolutionstatingthattheFireCodeshallapplywithintheboundariesoftheTown;andWHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteeshasdeterminedthatitisinthebestinterestoftheTowntoadoptaresolutionstatingthattheFireCodeasadoptedbytheEstesValleyFireProtectionDistrictpursuanttoResolutionNo.2019-01oftheFireDistrictshallapplywithinthecorporatelimitsoftheTownofEstesPark.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:1.The2018IntemationalFireCodeincludingAppendixesandAmendmentsasmorefullysetforthinResolutionNo.2019-01oftheEstesValleyFireProtectionDistrictshallapplywithinthecorporatelimitsoftheTownofEstesPark.DATEDthis______dayof&A.,2019.TOWNOFESTESPARKATTEST:go—Clerk
