CCRESOLUTION#28-17TOSETMILLLEVIESARESOLUTIONLEVYINGPROPERTYTAXESFORTHEYEAR2017TOHELPDEFRAYTHECOSTSOFGOVERNMENTFORTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADOFORTHE2018BUDGETYEAR.WHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesParkwilladopttheannualbudgetinaccordancewiththeLocalGovernmentBudgetLawonNovember28,2017;andWHEREAS,theamountofmoneynecessarytobalancethebudgetforgeneraloperatingpurposesfrompropertytaxrevenueis$378,960;andWHEREAS,the2017valuationforassessmentfortheTownofEstesParkascertifiedbytheCountyAssessoris$207,991,665.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:ThatforthepurposeofmeetingallgeneraloperatingexpensesoftheTownofEstesParkduringthe2018budgetyear,thereisherebyleviedataxof1.822millsuponeachdollarofthetotalvaluationforassessmentofalltaxablepropertywithintheTownfortheyear2017.ThattheTownFinanceDirectorisherebyauthorizedanddirectedtoimmediatelycertifytotheCountyCommissionersofLarimerCounty,Colorado,themillleviesfortheTownofEstesParkashereinabovedeterminedandset,butasrecalculatedasneededuponreceiptofthefinalcertificationofvaluationfromtheLarimerCountyAssessor.DATEDthisZ’dayoft’JOU-Ltfljaa4t.,2017.TOWNOFESTESPARKMayorATTEST:Tow(5Ierk
