00RESOLUTION#30-18SupportingtheGrantApplicationforaPlanningGrantfromtheStateBoardoftheGreatOutdoorsColoradoTrustFundandthecompletionoftheEstesValleyOpenSpaceandOutdoorRecreationPlan.WHEREAS,theTownofEstesParksupportstheGreatOutdoorsColoradograntapplicationfortheEstesValleyOpenSpaceandOutdoorRecreationPlan.Andifthegrantisawarded,theTownofEstesParksupportsthecompletionoftheproject;andWHEREAS,theTownofEstesParkhasrequested$66,000fromGreatOutdoorsColoradotoworkwiththeEstesValleyLandTrusttocompletetheEstesValleyOpenSpaceandOutdoorRecreationPlan,providinganopportunityforthepublictodevelopopenspaceandoutdoorrecreationprioritiesthathelppreserveourmountaintownandthegatewaytoRockyMountainNationalPark,andaplanthatwillsupplementtheComprehensivePlanUpdate.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:TheBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesParkstronglysupportstheapplicationandhasappropriatedmatchingfundsforagrantwithGreatOutdoorsColorado.Ifthegrantisawarded,theBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesParkstronglysupportsthecompletionoftheproject.TheBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesParkauthorizestheexpenditureoffundsnecessarytomeetthetermsandobligationsofanyGrantawarded.Ifthegrantisawarded,theBoardofTrusteesherebyauthorizestheTownAdministratortosignthegrantagreementwithGreatOutdoorsColorado.DATEDthisUdayof1CLh/ij2L,2018.TOWNOFPARKMayorATTEST:-.0pgTjClerk
