aRESOLUTION#22-18CGRANTAPPLICATIONFORTHEBIGTHOMPSONRIVERPICNICSHELTERSupportingtheApplicationforaMini-GrantLocalParksandRecreationfromtheStateBoardoftheGreatOutdoorsColoradoTrustFundforthecompletionoftheBigThompsonRiverPicnicShelter.WHEREAS,theTownofEstesParksupportstheGreatOutdoorsColoradograntapplicationfortheBigThompsonRiverPicnicShelterlocatedwestoftheEstesParkVisitorCenterparkingstructure;andWHEREAS,ifthisgrantisawarded,theTownofEstesParksupportsthecompletionofthisproject.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:Section1:Ifawarded,theBoardofTrusteesauthorizestheexpenditureoffundsnecessarytomeetthetermsandobligationsoftheGreatOutdoorsColoradogrant.Section2:theTownofEstesPark.TheprojectsitefortheBigThompsonRiverPicnicShelterisownedbySection3:TheTownofEstesParkBoardofTrusteesrecognizesthatastherecipientofaGreatOutdoorsColoradolocalgovernmentgranttheprojectsitewillprovidepublicaccess.Section4:ThompsonRiverVisitorsCenterinannualbudget.TheTownofEstesParkBoardofTrusteesagreestomaintaintheBigPicnicShelterlocatedwestoftheparkingstructureattheEstesParkahigh-qualityconditionandwillappropriatefundsformaintenanceintheSection5:Ifawarded,theTownofEstesParkBoardofTrusteesherebyauthorizestheMayororMayorprotemtosignthegrantagreehientwithGreatOutdoorsColorado.Section6:Thisresolutiontobeinfullforceandeffectfromandafteritsapproval.DATEDthis______dayof(XlEDhQ41L,2018.ATTEST:rkMayor
