Minutes of Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee meeting of the Town
of Estes Park. Meeting held in said Town of Estes Park on September 8,
2022.

Chair Heiser started the meeting at 9:00 a.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES from July 28, 2022
The minutes were approved by a thumbs-up vote.

Logan Simpson consultant Miriam McGilvray reviewed how the Plan has come together
in the 18 months since its inception.
Discussion on Future Land Use was had. It was stated that problems created by the
current Plan created some of the issues we have today. The Development Code rewrite
will take care of a lot of those problems. 9:35 The intent is to periodically review and
amend the Plan to capture change.
Upcoming Dates to be aware of:
September 18: Comments via Konveio
September 22: NO meeting
October 1-13: Public Review Period
TBD October: Community Event
October 18: Joint CompPAC and Planing Commission work session for final
recommendation
PUBLIC COMMENT.
Town residents John Phipps, John Guffey, Larry, Wayne Newsom shared comments on
the Plan.

There being no further business, Chair Heiser adjourned the meeting at 10:50 a.m.
