RESOLUTION OF RESPECT
WhEREAS,Car/ic Speed/in Bangs served the citizens of Estes Park as Trustee
of the Town of Estes Park from 2018 to 2022;and
WHEREAS,Car/ic participated in the community of Estes Park in numerous
capacities through a variety of organizations which include Parks Advisory Board,ç
families for Estes,Estes Valley Crisis Advocates Board of Directors,Colorado Alliance
for Environmental Education,and Communities that Care;and
WHEREAS,during her tenure as Trustee,Car/ic facilitated the revision,approval,
increase,establishment,improvement,and/or implementation of the following:
Adoption of the 2018 Model Traffic Code
Adoption of the Estes Valley Stonrnvater Master Plan
Adoption of the facilities Master Plan
Adoption of the Stanley Park Master Plan update
Complete overhaul of Municipal Court &determination to bring Attorney services
in-house
Continued Streets Improvement Plan Utilizing 1A Funds
Conversion of the Estes Valley Development Area to the Estes Park Planning Area
COVID-19 safety efforts,outreach,&relief finding
Formation of the Childcare &Workforce Housing Ad-Hoc Task force
Formation of the Environmental Sustainability Task Force
Adoption of Workforce Housing &Childcare Funding Policies
Graves Avenue Improvements through Safe Routes to School Grant
Installation of Dynamic Message Signs on US36 &US34
Moraine Avenue Bridge Replacement
Purchase of the Thumb Open Space &support of the Management Plan
Restructuring of the Building Division &hiring of SafeBuilt
Support for Attainable &Workforce Housing &Childcare Needs Assessment
Support for Ballot Issue 3A to fully Debruce
Support for Cameron Peak Fire &East Troublesome Fire emergency response
Support for the Career &Technical Education (CTE)building for the High School
Support for the Donation of Mrs.Walsh’s Garden to the Town
Support for the Downtown Parking Management Plan

WHEREAS,Car/ic served on the following groups/committees:Transportation
Advisory Board,Estes Valley Restorative Justice Board of Directors,Sister Cities Liaison,
and the Childcare &Workforce Housing Ad-hoc Task Force.)

NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board of>
Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,by this Resolution and Public Record,recognize the
dedication and leadership of Car/ic Speed/in Bangs and express profound appreciation for
her service to our community.
