Also Attending:Building Inspector Hackett and Town Clerk Hill
After considerable discussion of the so—called Central City Gas Code,
Chapters 37,51,52 and 54,dealing with venting,gas fittings,heating
and ventilation and domestic appliances,the Building Code Committee
made the following resolutions:
1.The Building Code Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees,
that the Town of Estes Park adopt by reference the Uniform
Building Code,1967 edition,in total and that Section 11.3 of
the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park (Building Exits
Code)be repealed.
2.The Building Code Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees,
that the Town of Estes Park adopt by reference the Uniform
Mechanical Code,1967 edition and that Sections 11.4 (Heating,
Ventilating and Air Conditioning)and 11.4-1 (Modifications
and Changes),be repealed.
Building Inspector,W.Ted Hackett will make a study of gas fittings
codes available and will report at the next Building Code Committee
meeting.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
