Also Attending:Building Inspector Mowery and Town Clerk Hill
The Building Code Committee discussed the use of cedar shake shingles
for roofs in Fire Zones one and two.The Committee also discussed the
possibility of amending the code and changing locations of said fire
zones.After considerable discussion the Committee recommends that
the code not be amended and the fire zones not be changed.The Build
ing InspectOr is instructed to recommend asbestos and certain types
of conforming asphalt shingles to be used as a substitute for cedar
shakes.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
