Minutes of a Regular meeting of the AUDIT COMMITTEE of the Town of
Estes Park,Larimer County,Colorado.Meeting held in the Municipal
Building in said Town of Estes Park on the 31st day of August,2004.
Committee:Trustee Bill Pinkham,Chairman,Mayor Baudek,Town
Administrator Widmer,Assistant Town Administrator Repola,
Finance Officer Brandjord

Also Attending:David Lee and Neil Waud,representing MBIA
Absent:None
Chairman Pinkham called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.
ANNUAL AUDIT SERVICES —ENGAGEMENT LETTER.
Discussion followed regarding contracting with the independent audit firm of Swanhorst
and Cutler,LLC,to perform the audit of the Town of Estes Park’s financial statements
for the year ending December 31,2004.It was moved and seconded
(Baudek/Repola)the engagement letter between Swanhorst and Cutler,LLC and
the Town be accepted,and the motion passed unanimously.
INVESTMENT PERFORMANCE —ANNUAL REVIEW.
David Lee/Client Services Manager,and Neil Waud/CFA,Assistant Vice President,
Portfolio Manager with MBIA Customized Asset Management discussed the market
environment and performance of the Town of Estes Park’s portfolio.
There being no further business,Chairman adjourned the meeting at 2:55 p.m.
