Chairman Hix called the meeting of the Light and Power Committee
to order at 2:00 P.M.
AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE VEHICLE.
Staff requested authorization to purchase a Jeep 4-WD vehicle to
replace a 1983 Jeep Scrambler.List price is $13,524,and with a
trade—in value of $2,800,the net cost is $10,724.$14,000 was
budgeted for this replacement.The Committee recommends approval
of the request.
REPORTS.
The Delinquent Account Report indicated 95 calls were placed,up
17%;17 notes were placed,down 37%;and 14 accounts were discon
nected,down 12.5%.
The Department officially gained possession of the new service
facility January 3.Staff anticipates conducting an Open House
for the general public in the near future.
A scheduled outaqe for the Rawhide Generating Plant has been
planned during January.Those interested in touring the plant
are encouraged to notify Director Dekker.
The Committee reviewed the Department’s ‘88/’89 activity sheet.
In summary,purchased power,retail sales,work orders,purchase
orders,and number of customers have increased.
There being no further business,Chairman Hix adjourned the
meeting at 2:14 P.M.
