OLD BUSINESS:
Eight bids were opened for the purchase of wire in the
amount of approximately 32,000 pounds.The low bid was determined by the
Committee to be General Electric Company and authorization was given for
the purchase.Details of the bid are as follows:
5000 lbs.10,000 lbs.17,000 lbs.

$38.85 $39.00 $37.40
In addition,a 2 per cent discount if paid in ten days.
NEW BUSINESS:
Information was given to the committee that Leon Sweetland
and Carl Bailey would attend a hearing in Denver at the Public Utilities Commission
office,requested by the Poudre Valley REA,requiring a certificate for
designated areas,some of which border areas being served by the Town of Estes
Park.Hearing to be Wednesday,March 20th.
One electrical account,folio number 2035-10,was discussed
by the committee to determine the action to be taken by the department.The
committee recommended a letter be written informing of the exact proceedure
to be taken.
