COMMITTEE REPORT

OLD BUSINESS:
1.It was reported to the committee that a new truck has been
ordered from Circle R Motor.Delivery date uncertain.
NEW BUSINESS:
1.Sweetland requests permission from the Board of Trustees
to purchase one new body for the new truck chasis.Esti
mated cost $650.00.This will require approval.
2.Radio -TV interference was discussed by the committee.
At the present time,the Town has no equipment available
for this purpose.Sweetland requests permission to buy
a Model 500 -Sprague Interference Locator,estimated
cost $480.00.This is recommended by the committee but
will require Board approval.
3.Fifty percent reduction on Christmas billing for residential
service was approved by the committee.
4.The committee entered into a lengthy discussion on the
advisability of single metering.This would apply to
residences now being served with two meters.The water
heater requiring an extra meter.
The committee recommended that a survey of the residential
rate be made in February.The result of the survey would
then be reported in detail to the next meeting of the
committee for further action.
At the present time there is in excess of 800 meters being
used for this type of service.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
