RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS
COM4ITTEE:Brodie -Grove -Ramey -Sweetland -Bailey
ATTENDING:Brodie,Sweetland,Mayor Graves,and Dale Hill
This special meeting of the Light and Power Committee was called for the
purpose of opening bids to repair the dam above the Hydro Plant on Fall
River.Invitations to bid were sent to C.M.Fulton Construction Company,
F.W.Wolpert,and C.&L.Gunnite Company.The specifications for the
bid were drawn by the Town Engineer,Paul Van Horn and Light and Power
Superintendent,Leon H.Sweetland,Jr.The invitation to bid stated the
bids were to be received by 3:00 P.M.October 25,1963.The C.&L.
Gunnite Company submitted the only bid.This bid was for the amount of
$2500.00 or $1.00 per square foot to be measured when the job is
finished.The Committee accepted the bid of the G.&L.Gunnite Company
and order work to start immediately.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
