HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Light and Power Committee 1963-08-19RECORD CF PROCEEDINGS Estes Park Light and Power Committee CONMITTEE REPORT August 19,1963 CONNITTEE:Brodie -Grove -Ramey -Sweetland -Bailey ATTENDING: OLD BUSINESS: 1.As a matter of record,all connections have been made to the new Sub-station with the exception of one covering the main street and west of Town. 2.It was reported to the Committee that material for the street lighting on Manford Avenue,approved May 20th,is not yet available due to strike conditions at the source of supply. It was also pointed out at the meeting that there are several other locations in the area of Al Fresco Place which may require some additional lighting. 3.Sweetland reported to the Committee that six new accounts have been added to the system in the Little Valley area.The primary extension has been completed and energized. NEW BUSINESS: 1.Sweetland asked the Committee for permission to use Waffensmith Construction Company in the re-construction of a section of the South Line,from the Cheeley Camp tap to Chalet Ranch.Estimated cost about $1000.00.This will require Board of Trustee approval. Sweetland further explained that there will be other major improve ments necessary prior to April 1964,at which time the present tap arrangement with the Bureau of Reclamation will expire.
