HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Light and Power Committee 1963-05-20RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Estes Park Light and Power Committee COMMITTEE REPORT May 20,1963 COMMITTEE:Brodie -Grove -Ramey —Sweetland -Bailey ATTENDING:II H It ti II OLD BUSINESS: 1.Sweetland reported sections of the distribution system now tied in with the new sub—station,from Lake Estes north to Glen Haven, the Big Thompson Canyon,Fish Creek line,Bureau of Reclamation area, New High School and certain areas east of Stanley Avenue. On May 21st,we will cut over Highway 7 areas to Cheley Camp and Fish Creek Ranch.Will include Allenspark within ten days. NEW BUSINESS: 1.The committee discussed street lights for Hanford Avenue as related to the new High School.The survey shows need for twelve lights. Material cost estimated at $1,321.00.This cost includes wood poles, 250 watt Mercury Vapor lamps.This is approved by the committee but will require Board of Trustee approval. 2.Annual dues in the amount of $107.34 for Colorado Association of Municipal Utilities was approved by the committee. 3.Leon Sweetland reported that the MacGregor case has been filed and the case set for June 10th.
