ESTES PARK LIGHT AND POWER CONMITTEE —

COMMITTEE:Brodie -Tregent -Hunter -Sweetland -Bailey

OLD BUSINESS:
1.Sweetland reported to the committee that testing on three new trans
formers for the Hydro Plant has been completed and that they should
be in Estes Park by Thursday,January 21st.Installation will be
made by the crew.This will be followed by a test run.
NEW BUSINESS:
1.Harry Tregent reported to the committee that he had received a
request from Mr.E.F.DuTeau for additional street lighting in the
Village Acres Area.Sweetland was asked to make a survey of street
lighting requirements in Village Acres and advise the cxuunittee.
2.Chairman Brodie brought to the attention of the Committee a request
he had received for more street and outside lighting in an effort to
curb delinquency and related problems.Mr.Brodie feels that there
is urgent need for the Department to accelerate its street lighting
program where economically feasible and where it will have the most
affect.Sweetland was asked to check into the Department’s overall
long-range policy for street lighting and advise the Committee.
There being no further business,the meeting was adjourned.
