OLD BUSINESS:
1.At the meeting of April 17,Sweetland requested permission to pur
chase 300 additional feet of 30”Penstock pipe to cover the remain
ing distance.This has been changed to a total of 391 feet of
30”pipe with 22 couplings and 2 specially designed additional
pieces at $90.00 each,with a total anticipated cost of $7500.00.
Committee requests approval from the Board of Trustees in order
that this pipe and material can be ordered now for delivery this
fall.
NEW BUSINESS:
1.Bailey requests that $20,000.00 be set aside and ear-marked for cost
of the additional Penstock,this in the form of an open time deposit.
This has the approval of the Committee and is referred to the Board
of Trustees for final action.
2.The residential account of Vic Walker was brought to the attention
of the Committee.For the time being,all energy being used on
the residential and water heating meters will be added together
as one bill.Sweetland has assured the Committee that one special
meter will be installed to replace both existing meters now in use.
3.Sweetland reported to the Committee that Truck No.14 -L &P,a
½ton 1954 Chevrolet pickup,will be repaired and placed back in
use for the summer months.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
