Light and Power Committee Meeting

The Light and Power Committee met to consider recommendations concern
ing the Chamber of Commerce request to permit the building of a Visitors
Center on Town property on the east side of Town.
The Light and Power Committee recommends the Board of Trustees make the
following determinations before working on the removal of deed restrict
ions:
1.The Board of Trustees should approve the Beautification
Committee’s final plans and recommendations.
2.The Board of Trustees should approve the Chamber of
Commerce’s plans for financing the project.
The Committee recommends that if these two items are approved by the
Board of Trustees the Town Attorney should then contact the attorney
for the Abbell’s and determine the possiblity of lifting the deed
restrictions to permit the building of the Visitor’s Center.
There being no further business,the meeting was adjourned.
