SPECIAL MEETING

OLD BUSINESS:
1.None.
NEW BUSINESS:
1.Sweetland reports that the Light and Power crew and Police
Department are jointly going ahead with plans for first aid
training.Books have been ordered and tentative plans are
for Handy to act as instructor.
2.Sweetland received a letter from Project Manager G.R.Highley
of the Bureau requiring that our power factor be corrected
from 70.77 to 9l7 lagging and should be from 9O7 lagging to
907,leading.This will be advantageous to the Town as well
as the Bureau.Preliminary steps have been taken to correct
the situation.
3.Chairman Tregent informed the Committee that Christmas lighting
is scheduled for November 30,1968.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
