OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:
1.Committee gave instructions for a letter to be prepared to
C.H.Hoper &Associates in Denver,for a joint meeting to
be held in the very near future for the purpose of finaliz
ing plans for a rate study.A night meeting has been
suggested and Mayor Ronald C.Brodie and Committee Council
men will be notified as to date and time.

Dear Mr.Hoper;
During the Light and Power Committee meeting of July 15,1968,there
was an expressed desire by the Committee for another joint meeting
for the purpose of finalizing plans for a rate study.
Our regular monthly meeting is held on the third Monday of each month
which may fit into your calender for the month of August,however,
this is not important.We believe a night meeting is desirable at
this time of year in order for full Committee attendence.We also
plan to have Mayor Ronald C.Brodie present at the meeting.
The Committee would like to establish definite plans for a rate study
and we also request that you be prepared to offer some basis of cost.
This was discussed at the first meeting although no actual,cost was
mentioned.This was probably due to lack of understanding as to how
extensive or how involved the study would become.We hope to make
this clear at the next meeting.This is something the Committee will
require before entering into a contract of agreement.
It is my understanding tnat you are on vacation at tnis time.Please
let us hear from you at your earliest convenience.
