Light and Power Coimnittee Meeting

Also Attending:Superintendent Sweetland,Office Manager Duncan and
Town Administrator Hill
Absent:Trustee Erickson
POWER CONTRACT:
Mr.Sweetland presented a proposed revision to the existing wholesale
power contract for the purpose of increasing our present contract rate
of delivery from 850 KW to 1050 KW during the October to March winter
season.The Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees the Mayor
and Clerk be authorized to sign the above mentioned agreement.
POLE USE AGREEMENT:
Mr.Sweetland reported that the pole use agreement is being revised to
make the adjustment requested by the Light and Power Committee in regard
to the TV Company rental return.
AGE 65 EMPLOYMENT REQUEST:
Superintendent Sweetland submitted a request to continue the employment
of the following employees through the fiscal year,1969-197O(June 30,
1970).
1.B.0.Walters,birthdate-November 2,1894,summer plant
operator.
2.George Blubaugh,birthdate-August 5,1900,plant operator.
The Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees that this request be
granted.
STREET LIGHTING:
A sub—committee established for the purpose of making a plan for street
lighting submitted their report,dated October 17,1969.This report
is attached to and made a part of these proceedings.The Committee re
commends the plan,as proposed,be accepted and that the Light and
Power Department follow this plan in it’s street lighting program.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
