LIGHT &POWER SERVICE BUILDING:
Superintendent Dekker presented a proposed service building drawing with
dimensions and site location for a structure to be located in the north
westerly portion of the Town property adjoining Iarimer Terminals.
Superintendent Dekker advised of the necessity of soil sampling prior
to construction.The Committee authorized Superintendent Dekker to
proceed with obtaining costs on a steel building.
LETTER FROM U.S,3.R.:
Superintendent Dekker reported on a letter from the Regional Director
of the Bureau of Reclamation concerning plans for 1974 electric power
rate increases for electric service for Colorado.The average net
increase per kilowatt hour will be approximately .55 mills,effective
on the first billing date after January 1,1974.The additional revenue
is required for operation and maintenance costs and repayment of in
vestment with interest within the time periods stipulated.
CURRENT PROJECT INFORMATION REPORT:
Superintendent Dekker gave a progress report on current department
field projects and particularly undergrounding.The Committee requested
that Superintendent Dekker secure feasible probing type information
toward subdivision undergrounding and report back with recommendations
at the next meeting.
