Light and Power Committee Meeting
July 6,1973

Also Attending:Town Administrator Hill,Superintendent Dekker,Business
Office Manager Duncan
Absent:Trustee Burgess
LIGHT &POWER SERVICE BUILDING:
Superintendent Dekker reported that the caissons are one half completed
and will probably be completed this next week.Additional steel necessary
for grade beams and floor slab will be available for delivery the week of
July 16th.
U.S.3.R.RATE CHANGE OPEN HEARINGS:
Superintendent Dekker advised the Committee that Bureau of Reclamation
rate change hearings will be held in Denver and Salt Lake City,Utah.
The PRMPA manager will attend in opposition to the rate increase.
Superintendent Dekker requested permission to attend the Salt Lake City
hearings if his presence is required to support the objection.The
Committee recommends approval.
POWER LINE EXTENSIONS:
Superintendent Dekker reported line extensions for Windcliff Estates,
YMCA and The Retreat probably will be started soon.
CRITICAL WORK WAD:
Superintendent Dekker reported that new construction is taking precedence
over line maintenance.The Committee recommmends that critical mainten
ance work will be scheduled at the discretion of the Light and Power
Superintendent along with new line extension construction.
