HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Light and Power Committee 1974-02-0700 RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS CD Chairman Petrocine;Trustees Wagner and Burgess Chairman Petrocine;Trustees Wagner and Burgess Town Administrator Hill,Superintendent Dekker, Business Office Manager Duncan None NEW SERVICE TRUCK: Superintendent Dekker presented truck proposals for a drive vehicle with desired options as follows: Colorado State Bid J-20 Jeep $4,444.41 Estes Park Garage,Inc.200 International 5,185.10 Dellenbach Chevrolet,Inc.CR20903 Chevrolet 4,759.00 Garrett Motors F-250 Ford 4,771.03 Trail Ridge Ford F-250 Ford 4,546.67 The Committee recommends accepting the Trail Ridge Ford bid. SERVICE TRUCK BODY EXCHANGE: 3/4 ton four-wheel Superintendent Dekker advised that painting and transferring the service body from the old truck to the new truck would cost about $300.00.The body must be modified because of gas tank location as required by OSHA standards. The Committee recommends approval. RATE STUDY PROGRESS REPORT: Superintendent Dekker reported on a meeting with the rate study engineer from R.W.Beck &Co.,an informal meeting with staff members of Colorado Public Utilities Commission and a meeting with Attorney Leonard Campbell.More information will be available for the next meeting. STREET LIGHTING REDUCTION: Superintendent Dekker advised that the street lighting reduction plan would be implemented within the next two weeks. JOURNEYMAN LINEMAN ADS: Superintendent Dekker reported that replys to “help wanted”ads have been received from apprentice lineman seeking employment with the Light and Power Department,but no journeyman lineman applications have been received. There being no further business,the meting adjourned.
