RATE INCREASE:
Director Dekker informed the Committee that the “pass—on1’rate increase
has been approved by the Public Utilities Commission and will,therefore,become effective with the next meter reading period and be reflected
on the September 1st bills.
RESOLUTION REGARDING STATE AMENDMENT NO.3 -NUCLEAR POWER DEVELOPMENT:
The Committee recommends the Board of Trustees adopt the attached Reso
lution which opposes the anti—nuclear power development State AmendmentNo.3 proposal.
VEHICLE BIDS:
The following bids were received for replacement of Vehicle #16 —theScout:
Trail Ridge Ford
-Bronco $4,157.26
Estes Park Garage
—Scout $4,169.25
Because 1976 models are no longer being produced,painting the vehicleTowncolorswouldrequireanadditional$75.OO+.If a 1977 model were
ordered,arriving in late September,Trail Ridge Ford anticipated amaximumincreaseof6%,whereas the Estes Park Garage made no commitmentontheexpectedincrease.
The Committee recommends ordering a 1977 Bronco from Trail Ridge Ford.
REPORTS:
A.EMPLOYEE STATUS
-Mr.Ernie Wach has been hired as the newmeterreaderandwillbeginworkingJuly6,1976.
B.WHOLESALE POWER BILLS
-Increases in recent wholesale powerbillswereduetoamistakeinthemeterreading.The U.$.B.R.will correct the situation.
C.Y.M.C.A.
-The Y.M.C.A.will be adding 162 motel-type unitswhichwillbeallelectric.
D.LINE TRUCK
-The new line truck has been delayed becausestabilizersneedtobeinstalledinthebackofthevehicleinordertomeetO.S.H.A.standards.Delivery will be inapproximatelyaweek.
E.R.M.E.L.UNIERGROUND COMMITTEE MEETING
-Foreman Tom DeanwasunabletoattendtheJune17thand18thmeetingoftheCommitteeduetoabusyschedule.
