RATE INCREASE:
The pass on rate increase approved by the Board of Trustees at its
meeting of May 11th was filed with the Colorado Public Utilities
Commission on June 1,1976.Consideration by the Commission of the
filing will not be until June 22nd or 29th.
R.M.E.L.UNDERGROUND COMMITTEE MEETING:
The Rocky Mountain Electrical League Underground Committee meeting will
be held in Rapid City,South Dakota on June 17th and 18th.The Committee
recommends Foreman Tom Dean attend the meeting.
VEHICLE REPLACEMENTS:
Replacement of vehicles #15 (3/4ton,4WD Dodge truck)and #32 (one ton
compressor truck)has been budgeted for 1976.Director Dekker requested
that vehicle #16,the Scout,be replaced.Approximate cost would be
$5,000 —$5,200.The Committee recommends proceeding with bids for all
three vehicle replacements.The auger trencher combination budgeted
for 1976 at a cost of $25,000 will most likely not be purchased this
year.
REPORTS:
A.EMPLOYEE STATUS -A new employee will be hired July 6,1976
to replace one who parted last winter.
B.MARY’S LAKE SUBSTATION -The Town has requested tapping the
Bureau of Reclamation’s 115 KV line and is currently awaiting
a reply from the Bureau.Completion of the substation is
scheduled for the Winter of ‘77—‘78.
C.HYDRO PLANT -The hydro plant was started approximately a
week early this year in order to compensate for the week of
operation that will probably be lost at the end of summer due
to shortage of water.
D.P.R.P.A.-Platte River Power Authority is currently investi
gating possible locations in Larimer and Weld counties for a
future power plant.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
