BUDGET BILLING:
The Town of Estes Park received notice from the Public Utilities
Commission to implement an optional budget billing program for LightandPowercustomers.Budget billing allows customers to pay a fixedmonthlyamountbasedonpastaverageusageforelevenmonthswiththetwelfthmonthpaymentbeingadjustedaccordingtoactualusageduringtheyear.The Committee recommends offering the program to all elec—trical customers who have a twelve consecutive month billing historyontheTowntselectricsystemandtoestablishAugust1stofeveryyearastheentrydateofthetwelvemonthcycle.The Committeealsorecommendsapprovaloftherevisedtariffsheetsandproposedordinanceestablishingbudgetbilling.
SUBSTATION SCREENING:
The Committee discussed landscaping as a means of providing screeningfortheTallantParksubstationandrecommendspursuingadetailedlandscapeplaninthefall.
REPORTS:
MARYS LAKE SUBSTATION should begin operation in the fall.
1978 WORK ORDERS show a 22%increase over this same date in 1977.
