RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS
Minutes of the regular meeting of the Estes Park Regional Planning Commission:.
Meeting held in the Town Hall on the l&th day of October, I960 at 45:00 p.m.
Present: Val Bernard, Chairman; N, L. Bartlett, R, C. Brodie, Joe Connelly,
C. F. Hix, C. M. Hunter, Andy Jones, ;.J, 0. Mall,
Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Secretary; Trafton Beqn, Planning Consultant.
Absent: Louis Canaiy.
Minutes of the last meeting were approved as read.
The Secretary reported that the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park and
the Board of Directors of the Estes Park Chamber of Commerce were on record as
approving and furthering plans to complete the U.S. # 34 Estes Park By-Pass, The
Commission proceeded to discuss the proposal. Following a detailed discussion,
C, M, Hxinter moved that this Commission approve and take action to urge the De^rt—
ment of Highv/ays to complete the Estes Park By-Pass and at the same time to initiate
suirvey and planning for another Estes Park By-Pass to be located south of the main
street. Joe Connelly seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously
carried.
Mr. Trafton Bean presented a proposed Comprehensive Zoning Resolution for Larimer
County and reviewed the same vdth the Commission. Following the review. Chairman
Bernard appointed a committee consisting of C. M. Hunter, Chairman; Joe Connelly,
C, F. Hix, to vrork vjith Attorney H. F. lvIiller and the Secretary to riJview the pro
posed Ordinance and make definite recommendations to the Commission at the next
meeting.
There being no further business it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that
the meeting adjourn.
