Meeting held in the Tovm Hall on February 19, 1957 at 7:30 P.M. Present: Charles F. Hix, Chairman, G.H. Gillan, Charles Herzog, Glenn Prosser, Dr. J.O. Mall, C.M. Hunter, Donald Griffith. Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Secretary, John Morris Planning Consultant. Absent: Ronald Brodie, E.R. Smith, C.A. Law. Minutes of the meeting held on January 15, read and approved. Mr. G.E. McHarry, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, appeared before the Commission and presented a proposal to annex a tract of land on the So. St. Vraln to vrlthln the corporate limits of the Tovm. Mr. McHarry was informed to have a plat prepared and submitted for final acceptance. Glenn Prosser introduced the following Resolution and moved that it be adopted: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Commission has designated the third Tuesday of each month as an open meeting when committees, delagations and public hearings are heqtd, AND WHEREAS, decisions made by this Commission are of prime and lasting importance, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that all matters presented to the Commission be studied by the Planning Consultant for recommendation, and that final decision not be made by the Commission before the 4th Tuesday of the Month., following presentation. Upon rollcall said Resolution unanimously carried. The Secretary presented a request submitted by Mr. E.F. Sanders, to close ^uP2riion of a road ln University Heights subidvlslon. The Commission ask tnat the request be published in order to receive public opinion. Mr. atoto R^ey and Howell Dletrlck appeared before the Commission and presen' a su°d^vision plat for the development of a light industrial area to be located North of the Town dump site. Several persons were present in order n? tne discussion on this proposal.
