Minutds of a Special meeting of the Estes Park Regional Planning Commission*
Meeting held In the Town Hall on the 29th day of July, 19571 at 4:30,P*M*
Present: Q-*H* G-lllan, Chairman, Donald Griffith, Charles P* Hlx, C*M*
Hunter, Charles Herzog, C*A* Law, Glenn Prosser.
Also Present: Verne H. Panton, Secretary*
Absent: Ronald Brodle, Val Benard, Dr* J.O* Mall*
The Secretary presented the application for a sign permit, submitted by
United Advertising Inc* of Denver, for a l4* x 28* highway bill-board type
sign, that was erected at Beavor Point without a permit* A letter from
the advisory committee In this area was read to the Commission, rejecting
the application and objecting to the sign* A petition, under date of
July 19, was read, asking that the sign be removed, and signed by 103
residents, living West of the village* After reviewing the above In
formation, Donald Griffith moved that the application be rejected and
the County Planning Commission be Informed accordingly* Chatles Herzog
seconded the motion* Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried*
In discussing the establishment of a County Board of Adjustment, C*M*
Hunter moved that a recommendation be made to the County Commissioners
that Mr* Glenn Prosser be appointed as a member of this Board, representing
this area, with Mr* Charles Hlx appointed as an associate member*
Charles Herzog seconded the motion* Upon roll call said motion unanimously
carried*
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
