HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Estes Park Planning Commission 1960-10-18I RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Minutes of the regular meeting of the Estes Park Local Planning Commission, Meeting held in the Towi Hall on the 18th day of October, I960 at 4:00 P.M. Present; N. L. Bartlett, R. C, Brodie, C. F. Hix, C. M. Hunter, Andy Jones. Also present: Verne H. Fanton, Secretary; Trafton Bean, Planning Consultant. Absent: Louis Canaiy. Minutes of the regular meeting held on June 21, I960 read and approved as read. In accordance with the action taken at the last regular meeting, the Commission proceeded to conduct a public hearing regarding certain property adjacent to the South St. Vrain Highway. The Secretary reported that legal publication regarding the hearing had been complied with. Chairman Val Bernard announced that the Commission would first consider the request to re-zone Lots 3, 5, and 10 of Block 6; Lot 6 of Block 7; and Lot 6 of Block 3 from existing Residential District to proposed Commercial District. Mr. Elmer Graham, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Leibfried, I'liss :^is Griffith, Mrs, Hovrard Miles appeared before the Commission and spoke opposing any re=zoning in the Reclamation Sub-division that is now zoned as residence. There were no persons present to support the requests for re-zoning. ihe Secreta^ read correspondence and petitions filed opposing the re-zoning. All persons haying been heard, all correcpondence read, N. L. Bartlett moved that the requests filed to rezone from residence to commercial in the Bureau of Reclamation "•irL!10!1v, /.e^lied’ C* F* Hix seconded the motion.
