RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS
Minutes of the regular meeting of the Estes Park Local Planning Commission held
in the Tovm Hall on the 15th day of December. 1959 at 4:Q0 P.M.
Present: N, L, Bartlett, Ronald C, Brodie, Louis Canaiy, Charles Herzog,
C, M, Hunter.
Also Present; Verne H, Fanton, Towi Clerk
Absent:Charles F, Hix
Minutes of the regular meeting held on the 24th day of November, 1959 read and
approved as read.
The Commission discussed various policies that might regulate the proceedure to
be followed regarding dates of meetings and proposed methods of rezoning.
Following a detailed discussion, the Commission unanimously agreed to set up and
to adopt the following policy;
1, That in the future, the regular meeting dates of this Commission
will be .(M^-monthly and on the third Tuesday of each monthj the
next meeting date being February 17, 1961j
2, That this Commission will hear and discuss rezoning requests at
the February, June and October meetings only;
3, That.in addition to legal publication, property being requested
to be rezoned shall be posted xd-th an appropriate sign of at
least 2' X 3’ in size;
4» That the Secretary, upon receipt of a request for rezoning, shall
complete the legal publication and the posting of the property
in order that the public hearing shall be considered at the next
regular meeting set to consider rezoning;
5, That an application fee of $15.00 accompany the request for
rezoning, to be retained by,the Town regardless of the final
decision reached upon the request;
6. That a property not be considered for rezoning oftener than a
12 months period;
7* That a standard form for ^Request for Change in Zoning Ordinance*
be established;
There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that
the meeting adjourn.
