Minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Local Planning Commission held
on the 24th day of November 1959 at 4?00 p.m.
Present;Louis Canaiy, Charles Herzog, Charles F. Hix, C, M, Hmter
Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Secretary
Absent: N. L, Bartlett, R. C. Brodie
Minutes of the regular meeting held on October 20, 1959 read and approved as read.
In accordance with action taken at a previous meeting the Board proceeded to
conduct a public hearing regarding the request of ~:I, J. Harbaugh to re-zone Lot 31
at Riverside Sub-diivision from the existing ,,R-2 Multiple Family District" to a
"C-1 Commercial District". The Secretary stated that legal publication regarding
this hearing had been compiled with and that one letter of objection had been
received from Agnes K. Orthman. Mr. Harbaugh appeared before the Co^ission and
explained that he was not the ovjner of the entire Lot 31, but supported his reques
to re-zone the portion of Lot 31 that he did own. Mrs. Obthman appeared ^d spoke
sttaaoBiiag the re-zoning of the portion of the lot that she omed, but did no
^STthi re-zoning of that portion owned by Mr. Harbaugh. All Persons having been
heard and the Commission being fully advised, C. M. Hunter moved that the application
to re-zone be denied until such time that additional property owners in thearea
netition for re-zoning. C. F. Hix seconded the motion. Upon roll call^said motion
carried by the following vote; those voting "yes" and in favor of denying the rZisiXTs Cecily, Charles Hers6g, Charles Hix, 0. H. Henter. These vctmg

Mr Michael Karden, representing Hr. ilm. A. Hoskins, appeared before the Commission

There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was regularly moved
seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.

Minutes of the regular meeting held on the 20th day of October 1959 read and
approved as read.
The Secretary presented an application for a permit submitted by F. V/. Wolpert
for the installation of a concrete ready mix plant to be located on Lot 8 of the
Larimer Terminals Sub-Division. The area being zoned as a C-1 Commercial District
and after discussing the application, the Board being of the opinion that the
application was within the scope and the intent of the Ordinance, the Board
unanimously approved the application.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was regularly moved
seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
