Meeting held in the Tovm Hall on the 23rd day of April, 1957i 7:30 P»M. Present; G-.H. G-illan, Chairman, Ronald Brodie, Charles Herzog, C.A. Law, G-lenn Prosser. Also Present; Trafton Bean, Planning Consultant, Verne Fanton, Secretary. Absent; Charles F. Hix. Minutes of the regular meeting held on April l6th, read and approved. The preliminary plat of the proposed subdivision designated as "Prospect Acres" submitted by A.D. Jones, was again reviewed by the Commission. The plat showed the main street through the subdivision Increased to 80 feet in v/ldth, in accordance with the Commission’s recommendation. Considerable discussion was held regarding the name of this through street. G-lenn Prosser moved that the street be designated as "Marys Lake Drive". C.A. Law seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. In discussing the balance of the street names in the subdivision, the Commission assigned the names of "Meadow Lane", Forest Lane" and "Forest Way" to other streets. Following a detail discussion, G-lenn Prosser moved that in accordance vrith the subdivision regulations, that the sub divider be asked to deed to the Town, an area equlvilent to S% of the land included in the sub­ division, to be located in the South East portion of the subdivision, for recreation purposes. Charles Herzog seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. The Secretary reported that the Town Board had accepted the complete street names, as submitted by the Commission. The Planning Consultant recommended that the Town Board adopt the complete system by Ordinance. The balance of the meeting v:as devoted to the preparation of an Annexation Code for the Town, including requirements fixed by State law, utility extensions, minlmiim area requlrments, legal and engineering requirments. The Commission having agreed on the major items, Trafton Bean stated that the code would be presented at the next meeting for consideration. There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. Meeting held in the Tom Hall on the 23rd day of April, 1957, at the regular meeting hour. Present; G-.H. Gillan, Chairman, Ronald Brodie, Charles Herzog, C.M. Hunter, C.A. Law, G-lenn Prosser, Donald Griffith, J.O.Mall. Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Secretary, Trafton Bean, Planning Consultant. Absent: Charles F. Hix. Minutes of the regular meeting held on April l6, read and approved. The total time alloted to the Regional Commission, was spent on reviewing a proposed land use map for the Region. A tentative map and |)lan having been agreed upon, C.M. Hunter moved that it be approved as a preliminary plan. Dr. Mall seconded the motion, upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. In fvirther discussing the land use in the Region, it was moved, seconded and carried that an invitation be extended to representatives of the North End Planning Dlstrct, the Fish Creek Planning District, and the proposed District No. 3, to meet with this Commission at the next regular meeting to discuss the preliminary Regional land use plan.
