Minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Local Planning Commission*
Meeting held in the Town Hall on the 15th day of October, 1957, at 7:30
Present: G-.H. Gillan, Chairman, Ronald Brodle, Charles Herzog, Glenn Prosser.
Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Secretary, Kern Hahn, Planning Consultant*
Absent: Charles Hlx, C*M* Hunter, C.A* Law*
Minutes of the regular meeting held on September 24', read and approved*
Chairman Gillan opened the meeting and announced that in accordance with
public notice having been published, the Commission would proceed to hear
the petition asking that certain streets in Country Club Mannor Addition
be closed and vacated* Mr. Charles D* Strong, Architect of Denver, re
presenting the National Parks Corporation, appeared and spoke in favor
of the petition* Mr. Walt Howard, Mr* & Mrs* Kenneth Llchity, Mr* Lav/rence
Cundall, and Mr* Howard McConnell, property owners in the area, appeared
and spoke opposing the petition* All present having been heard. Chairman
Gillan stated that the Commission would act on the proposal at the next
meeting*The Secretary read the report and recommendation of Trafton Bean, regarding
the proposal, advising that the streets not be vacated*
Mr* Hahn read and reviewed with the Commission, a preliminary planning
report on all local utilities and stated that the report would probably
be in final form for the next meeting.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was regularly
moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn
