Meeting held in the Tovm Hall, on the 15th day of May, 1956, at 9.00 P.M. Present: Charles F. Hix, Chairman, R.C. Brodie, G.H. Gillan, Charles Herzog, C.A. Law, Glenn Prosser, E.R. Smith.Vcrne H. Fanton, Secretary. Trafton Bean, Planning Consultant. Absent: None. Minutes of the regular meeting held on April 17th, read and approved. Chairman Attest: Secretary I N9 9 RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Minutes of the initial meeting of the Estes Park Regional Planning Commission. Meeting held in the Town Hall on the 15th day May, 1956 at 7:30 P.M. Present: Charles F. Hix, Chairman, C3-.H. Gillan, Glenn Prosser, E.R. Smith, Donald Griffith, J.O. Mall. Verne H. Fanton, Secretary, A. Walter La\?son, Larimer County Commissioner. Trafton Bean, Planning Consultant. Absent: C.M. Hunter. In accordance with the cooperative action of The Town of Estes Park and the County of Larimer, this meeting organized The Estes Park Regional Planning Commission. The Secretary reported that this Commission w^s duly orge.nlzed by proper action taken by the Board of County Commissioners and is now ready to act inan official capacity. Mr. Trafton Bean, being employed by the Local Planning Commission, reported that he had not been able to complete the proposed master plan for streets and highways in the area, as planned, therefor it would be necessary to post pone the public hearing. Mr. Bean explained that h®. y[a8. exJ®nf;ins hi contract with the Local Commission for another 3° days wJ:5;hout_pd The Commission set a date of June 19 for final consideration PrXsed master plan for highways. The Commission proceeded to made several changes and corrections. Mr. Bean stated that he would h the map completed and on display at the Town Hall next week. Mr. Lawson discussed with the Commission, the possibility FeLral Federal aid for the work of this commission. Gillan seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.
