Minutes of a Special meeting of the Estes Park Planning Commission, held
at the Tovvti Hall on Monday, December 12, 1955 at 3:00 P.M.
Present; Chairman Charles F. Hlx, Vice Chairman G.H. Glllan, Dr. J.O.
Mall, Don Griffith, E.R. Smith, Charles Herzog, and Secretary
Verne H. Fenton.
Absent; C.A. Law, C.M. Hunter, R.C. Brodie, Glenn Pronser & Helen Hutchinso
Minutes of the Special meetings held on November 22nd, and November 29th,
read and approved as read.
This meeting called for the express purpose of considering the written
proposals of Mr. Waicr Maitland end of Trafton Bean & Associates, Planning
Engineers and Consultants, for the preparation of a complete master plan
for Estes Park and fringe area. Both proposals were read by the Secretary
and discussed at length and in detail by the members present. The propsal
of Trafton Bean and Associates was based on a tv;o year period, with the
total cost being $ 4,800.00 for the first year and $ 3,600.00 for the
second year. Dr. Mall moved that the Planning Commission recommend to the
Tov;n Board that the Town budget the necessary funds, and enter into an
agreement v;lth Trafton Bean and Associates for planning services, in
accordance with his written proposal. Don Griffith seconded the motion,
upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.
Five members present agreed to meet with the Tovm Board to discuss and
recommend the above proposal.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
