Minutes of e. meeting of the Board of Adjustment, Tovm of Estes Park,
Colorado, In conformity with Ordinance No. 115* Meeting Held at the
Town Hall On the 28th day of July, 1952 at 3:00 P.M.
Present: Claude A. Davis, Chairman, C. Warren Chapman, Chas. F. Hix
lorn Stoneman, and Secretary Verne H. Fanton.
Absent: Carl Lawrence.
Mr. and Mrs. Chet Law, owners of Lot 1 and 2, Little Prospect Mountain
addition, appeared before the Board and ask that the above lots be
taken out of the R-1 Residence District and be included in the R-2
Multiple Family Residence District, in order that they might construct
and operate a tourist motel. The Board discussed the proposal in
detail, adjourned and inspected the property involved, and returned
and continued the meeting. At the conclusion, C.W. Chapman moved that
this Board be on record for the following facts:
The South 150 feet of these two lots boErdfcring Stanley Circle Drive,
should remain in the R-1 Residence District;
The Board does not reccommend or oppose the change of the balance of
the property at this time; ,.,4 v. .That This Board recommend to the Town Council that a public nearing
be held, according to law, in order to determine the opinion of the
adjoining property owners.
Tom Stoneman seconded the motion. Motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
