Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Adjustment, of The Tovm of
Estes Park, Colorado, In conformity v;lth Ordinance No. II5. Meeting
held at the Tovm Hall, at four P.M. on the 17th day of June, 1952.
Present: Claude A. Davis, Chairman, C.F. Hlx, Tom Stoneman, Carl
Lavmence, and Clerk to the Board, Verne H. Fanton.
Absent: Board member, C. Warren Chapman.
This meeting called for the purpose of considering an application
for a permit as set forth In a letter of June I3, 1952, signed by
Paul H. Van Horn. Mrs. Paul H. Van Horn appeared before the Board
supporting the application. The Board held detail discussion on
the application without a definite conclusion. The Clerk was In
structed to refer the matter to the Town Attorneys, Chllson &
McCreary, for a legal opinion. The meeting was adjourned until the
opinion was received.
June 20, 3i30 P.M. Meeting called to order with the above members
present; C. Warren Chapman absent:
The Clerk presented the written opinion on the above application,
received from the Tovm Attorneys. Following a detail discussion,
Charles F. Hlx moved that. In view of the vrrltten opinion rendered
by Attorneys Chllson & McCreary, dated June 18, 1952, that the
application for a permit to construct a building on Lot 25, of Lake
View Tracts, be granted, as provided for In Section Seven, Ordinance
115, Town of Estes Park. Carl Lavrrence seconded the motion. Upon
roll call said motion unanimously passed.
It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
