Tovm of Estes Park, Colorado, acting under authority of Ordinance
No. 115, held in The Town Hall, in the Town of Estes Park, on the
12th day of May, 192^8 at 3 o'clock P.M.
Present; Members Claude A. Davis, Chairman, Chas. F. Hix, C. warren
Chapman, Bert. J. McConnell and F.E. Williamson.
Secretary, Verne H. Fanton.
Absent: None.
Minutes of the regular meeting held on April 30'th, 19^8, read and
approved as read.
The Secretary reported that the action requested by the Board at the
last regular meeting, relating to notices, printed forms, and publicity
had been complied with.
The Secretary reported that he had contacted several property oraers
along the So. St Vraln highway regarding zoning that area and the
reaction was generally favorable. The Board then discussed restrictions
to be Included in a proposed Restricted Commercial District, that
might apply to the above area. Following the discussion, C. Warren
Chapman moved that the Secretary proceed to draw an amendment to the
Ordinance, to be known as C-2 Restricted Commercial District add to
notify the property owners in the district under consideration, of
the Board's intentions. C.F. Hix seconded the motion. Motion carried
There being no further business to come before the meeting at this
time, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting
adjourn.
