Mayor Harry B. Tregent made some preliminary remarks to the Committee
regarding its purpose and its probable affect on the Town of Estes
Park.
The Committee acknowledged that due to the Urban Renewal Plan, the
Town staff may have to be increased with the hiring of a professional
planner in order to ultimately fulfill the requirements of the planning
process, and more importantly, the implementation of the Urban Renewal
Plan once it is completed.
The Committee discussed at length the merits and cost projections
of the proposals from both THK Associates, Inc. and Carl A. Worthington
Partnership.
The Committee decided to interview the two planning firms on Monday,
December 27, 1982 on the following schedule:
THK Associates, Inc. 1:00 P.M.
Carl A. Worthington Partnership 3:00 P.M.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
