Meeting held in the Municipal Building in said Town of Estes Park on the 20th day of April, 2005. Smith, Deputy Town Clerk Williamson Chairman Wasson and Commissioners Ericson and Steige Vice Chairman Swank called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m. MINUTES. The minutes of the regular meeting held March 16, 2005 were approved. COMMUNITY COMMENTS. None. COMMISSIONER COMMENTS. None. STAFF REPORT/PROJECTS. Executive Director’s Report. 1. Riverspointe Downtown is on schedule for a Memorial Day opening. Drainage issues are being resolved. 2. John Ericson, Jr. was appointed to the EPURA Board at the April 12, 2005 Town Board meeting. 3. Executive Director Smith attended the APA Conference in San Francisco on March 18th-24th. Citing State Statute 24-6-402(4)(d) C.R.S., for the purpose of determining positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations, developing strategy for negotiations, and instruction of negotiators, it was moved and seconded (LIttle/Repola) EPURA enter Executive Session to discuss the item identified, and it passed unanimously with Commissioner Wilcocks abstaining. Vice Chairman Swank called a recess of the regular meeting at 8:15 a.m. to enter into Executive Session. Vice Chairman Swank reconvened the regular meeting at 9:00 a.m. RESOLUTION 364 - AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CULTURAL ARTS COUNCIL OF ESTES PARK RELATIVE TO THE POSSIBLE ACQUISITION OF A CONDOMINIUM UNIT IN RIVERSPOINTE DOWNTOWN. Director Smith read Resolution #364 authorizing the Chairman to enter into a contract RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority - April 20, 2005 - Page 2 with CACEP to purchase Condominium Unit Ef Riverspointe Downtown, a 4,750 sq. ft. condominium fronting the Riverwalk. CACEP has expressed interest in acquiring Unit E for use as a performing arts and visual arts complex, a use EPURA feels would enhance the area. It was moved and seconded (Little/Repola) Resolution #364 be approved, and it passed unanimously with Wilcocks abstaining.
