Minutes of the January 7, 1988 meeting were approved as prepared.
It was moved and seconded (Pohl—Hill) that the bills be paid.
Motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
Director Anderson read two letters received in response to the Trail
Gazette article, requesting names for the river corridor project.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Commissioner Pohl stated that copies of the December 1987 financial
report were distributed to the Board and moved the report be
accepted into the record. Commissioner Ericson seconded the motion
and it passed unanimously.
COMMITTEES
Finance and Budget - Commissioner Pohl reported that the 1987 audit
is underway.
Development - It was moved and seconded (Pohl-Godbolt) that the
minutes of the January 20, 1988 Development Committee meeting be
accepted into the record. Motion carried.
Capital Improvements - Director Anderson noted that, due to the
recent cold weather, work is proceeding slowly, but is on schedule.
NEW BUSINESS
Work Release - Design Studios West - It was moved and seconded
(Ericson-Godbolt) that the Executive Director be authorized to sign
a work release under the existing contract with Design Studios West
for design and construction drawings for the Nagl arcade area,
contingent upon obtaining a signed, formal contract with Mr. Nagl.
Motion carried.
Chairman Phares noted that he. Commissioner Hondius and Director
Anderson would be meeting with Wagner Enterprises' attorney this
morning to continue negotiations for an agreement to
purchase/redevelopment the "Boyd Building".
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
