Approval of the minutes of the Urban Renewal Authority Meeting
held September 7, 1983 shall be considered at the next regularly
scheduled meeting.
RFP ON STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS;
This special session was called to determine which design firm
would be hired for the Streetscape Improvements along West Elkhorn
Avenue to Moraine Avenue and from Moraine Avenue to Rockwell Street.
EPURA chose to interview four firms; DOWNING/LEACH and ASSOCIATES;
DESIGN STUDIO WEST, INC.; HOH/KKBNA; and EDAW.
Commissioner Anderson made a motion to negotiate a contract with
Design Studio West, seconded by Commissioner Pohl. Those in
favor were Commissioners Moss, Anderson, Pohl. Those opposed were
Commissioners Hill and Pauley.
MOTION: Commissioner Anderson moved that if a contract cannot be
negotiated with Design Studio West, the second choice would be
EDAW, seconded by Commissioner Hill. The motion passed unanimously
MOTION: A Motion was made to consider New Business; the motion
passed unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS;
Regarding EPURA hiring a Secretary II - interviews will be held
Tuesday, September 13, 1983. Commissioner Moss'and Executive
Director Cole will be conducting the interviews. The final de
cision will be made by the Executive Director.
