held in the Town Hall on January 20, 196? at 4:00 P.M,!
Present: Harry Miles, Chairman, Dale Hill, R.C, Brodie, Carl Svranson, Chas, Hi;c,
Howard Stevrart.
Absent: None.
This meeting called for the purpose of considering a proposal to annex a portion
of the Stanley Hotel property.
lir. Robert Barrell, Consulting Engineer of Boulder, ; Colo, fepresenting the oT.mers
of the Stanley Hotel, appeard before the Commission, and displayed a plat shovring
a proposed development of a 39 lot residence subdivision, together with a proposed
commercial shopping center, a total area of 56.8 acres, and ask that the area be
annexed to the Town of Estes Park. Plats shvroing the location of water, sewers,
and streets were also displayed. | j +v.
The Commission studied the proposal at length and in detail, and emphasized the
fact that the proposed annexation included only a portion of the Stanley Hotel
Howard1,Stewart moved that this Commission recommend to the Town Board, that the
proposal in ±xk its present form HOT be accep?ited for annexation._ Charles riix
seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.
The Commission then unanimously stated that they would be receptive to a proposed
annexation that included the entire Stanley Hotel property.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
