Town Hall on the 31st day of May, 1967 at 3:00 p.mj
Present: Chairman Harry Miles; R. C. Brodie, Henry Dannels, C. F. Hix,
Verne H. Fanton, Secretary.
Absent:Howard Stewart, Carl Swanson, C. A. Graves
This special meeting was called by Chairman Miles for the express purpose of re
solving the petition submitted by Mr, J. R. McKelvey at the last regular meeting
requesting that the Rock Acres Addition be rezoned from the present R-2 Multiple
Family Residence District to a C-2 Restricted Commercial District. The Commis
sion reviewed and discussed the minutes of the last regular meeting, at which a
public hearing was conducted regarding the above request. After due deliberation,
Chas. Hix moved that due to the fact that the records show that nine property
owners in the area expressed their opposition to the request and that only the
petitioner supported the request, this Commission recommend to the Town Board
that the petition be denied. R. C. Brodie seconded the motion. Upon roll call
said motion carried and said request denied by the following votes. Those voting
"Yes" Harry Miles, R. C. Brodie, Henry Dannels, C. F. Hix. Those voting "No"
none,
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
