Brodie, Clarence §illett. Dale Hill, J.O. Mall, Frank MeGraw,; Richard Pohly, Carl Swanson, /□.so Present; Verne H, Fanton, Secretary, Dwight I'Jhitney, County Planning Consultant, Absent: Cleo Cooprider, Chas. F. Hix, Howard Steward, Minutes of the regular meeting held on November 15) read and approved as read. Chairman Miles opened the meeting and stated that the Coremission would proceed to consider a petition filed at the last meeting, requesting a change in zoning in the Estes Park North End area. The Secretary posted a map, in color, showing the proposed change in zoning as set forth in the petition, stated that three Public Notice publications had been published in the Estes Park Trail, and that a notice had feeen mailed to every known property owner in the area involved. One Hundred and one notices vrere mailed, Mr, R, Dale Tooley, Attorney at Law, and Mr, R.J. Fox, representing the petitioners, spoke in favor of the proposed rezoning. There were no persons present to be heard opposing the rezoning. The Secretary read correspondence on file from the following property owners, opposing the petition: Frank McGraw, Rex Walker, Muriel Mac Gregor, Louis Livingston, Frank Fai-rlk, and Arthur Card, It; is estimated that that the above objectors represent about 1900 acres of the estmated 6000 acres proposed by the petitioners. The Coimission discussed the proposal at; length and in det^l. ihe^ remarks indicated that the proposal had merit, but that; a considerable portion of the land described in the petition should be deleted, James Bissell boved that this Commission recommend the following: / o a Hiat all lands now zoned F 0 1 Forestry District in Sections four, eight, (. 9 / seventeen, eighteen, nineteen and twenty, Tl'.T 5, R. 72, be rezoned to E Estate District, Richard Pohly seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" and in favor of the motion, BisseU., Brodie, Gillett, mil. Mall, Pohly, Those voting "No", Swanson, Those not voting, McGraw, CEDAR pari: subdivision Mir, James T. Patty, representing Nelson, Haley, Patterson and Quirk, _^gineering Consultants, of Greeley, submitted a subdivision plat entitled "Cedar Park, 7^ fil^g , ^-es i moved that it be given preliminary approval, Richard Pohly seconded the moti , p roll call said motion unanimously carried, Mr, Fatty submitted a plat entitled " Cedar Park, 3kd Filing" and ask that b® final approval, James Bissell so moved. Dale Hill seconded the motion. Upon roll c 1 said motion unanimously carried.
