Meeting held In the Tovm Hall on November 21,|l96l at 4’; 00 P.M. Present; ValBenard, Chairman, Verne H. Fanton, Secretary, N*L. Bartlett, R.C. Brodie, Chas. F* Hlx, Andy Jones, J-O. Mall. Also Present: Clarence Gillett, representing North End Planning Commission. Absent; Louis Canaly, Joe Connelly, C.M. Hunter. "Venner Ranch Estates" Mr. Joel Bacon, Agent, representing Mr. Robert Venner, appeared before the Commission, and presented a preliminary plat of a proposed subdivision, designated as "Venner Ranch Estates". The site comprises all of the South West Quarter of Section 36, Range 73, and is now zoned R Residential District. After reviewing the plat and the same[appearing to be in order, Andy Jones moved that the plat be given preliminary approval. C.F. Hlx seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. Local Planning Commission* Plat Thomas The Secretary presented a plat designated as "Amended Plat of Thomas Re-^ubdlvision, a Part of Lot 4l, Little Prospect Addition to Town of Estes Park" and explained that the original plat, recorded on August 5> 1958, did jnot Include the signatures of all Resubdlvision property owners. The amended plat now being filed is identical to the original, except, all property owners have signed the amended plat. N.L* Bartlett moved that the plat be approved. R.C. Brodie seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. Zone unclassified lands In accordance with the action taken at the last regular meeting, the Secretary reported that he had notified all property owners involved, that the Commission would start proceedings to zone all of the unclassified lands within the Town. All correspondence received in reply to the notice was read. Following a detail discussion, Andy Jones moved that the Secretary publish public notice that the Commission will conduct a public hearing, regarding proposed zoning of the following described lands in the following respective districts; Lot 11, So. St. Vrain Addition (Moutoux) R-1 Residence District Meyer Addition, (Dr. Meyer) R-2 Multiple Family District Rook Acres Addition, (J.R.McKelvey) Multiple Family District Elkhorn Club Estates, R-1 Residence District i- !Acacia Acres (Masonic Lodge) R-1 Residence District Said hearing to be held on January I6, 1962. Chas. F. Hlx seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. N9 65 RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 1961 November 21, 1962 Page 2 C.M. Fulton In discussing proposed zoning for Lot 12, So. St. Vrain Addition, the Commission noted that the present use of a portion of the land was of a Industrial nature, and that the present zoning Ordinance does not provide a District for such uses. Chas. F. Hlx moved that the Secretary have Mr. Trafton Bean prepare a industrial District and submit it to the Commission for consideration. R.C. Brodle seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.^ G.H. Gillan In discussing proposed zoning for lots 32, 33, and 36 of Riverside Subdivision, the Commission stated that the same condition exists that is outlined above for Lot 12, So. St. Vrain Addition. N.L. Bartlett moved that Mr. Trafton Bean be asked to prepare a new zoning District, that would include the present use of the property, to be submitted for consideration. R.C. Brodle seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.
