HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Estes Park Planning Commission 1968-10-15Minutes of a regular meeting of The Estes Pafk Planning Commission, held in the Toto Hall, Estes Park, Colorado, on the 15th day of October, I968 at 4:00 P,M# Present: Harry Miles, Chairman, Henry Dannels, Carl Swanson, Chas, F. Hix, i Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Secretary, Dwight VJhitney, larimer County Planner, ! Absent: E.S, Erickson, Howard Stewart, Minutes of the regular meeting held on Sept, l?th, 1968 read and approved as read. Chairman Miles stated that the Commission would proceed to conduct a public hearing regarding a request on file, submitted by The First National Bank of Estes Park, requesting that Lots 2 and 3 of Subdivision of Lot 17, Block 10, in the Town of Estes Park, Colorado, together with the Easterly one-half of the vacated area adjoining said premises on the Westerly side thereof be rezoned from the present Rp-2 Multiple Family District to a C-1 Commercial District, The Secretary read the request in full, stated that Public Notice had been complied with and that there was no correspondence on file regarding the request, Itr, Edward Hummer, Attoniey at Law and Mr, G.G, Adrian were present representing the petitioner. There were no persons present to oppose the request, Chas, F, Hix moved that this Commission recommend to the Town Board that the above described property be rezoned in accordance with the request!, Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried, I Mr, Leonard Molander and Mr Paul Van Horn appeared before the Commission and presented a Subdivision Plat, entitled "Koral Heights, First Addition", located in Sec, 31> T, 5 N,, R, 72 W,, adjacent to the corporate limits of the Town of Estes Park, and ask that it be given preliminary approval. The Commission together with Mr, Dwight Whitney reviewed the plat in detail, whereupon Chas, F. Hix moved that this Commission recommend to Larimer County that the plat be given preliminary approval, Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried, ' I There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. Attest:Chairman 1 42
