Graves Minutes of the regular meeting held on October 17, 1967 were read and approved. j Paul Van Horn, Registered Engineer, presented a Plat entitled "High Acres Subdivi sion" and requested it be given final approval. In accordance with Section 21-3- 7 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park, Charles F. Hix moved the Estes Park Planning Commission give final approval to the above described Plat. Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. Larimer County Planner, Dwight Whitney, advised the commission they should make written recommendations to the regional Planning Commission as to County zoning needs in the areas immediately surrounding the Town of Estes Park. After con siderable discussion, the Planning Commission decided to write the Larimer County Commissioners stating they would be sending written suggestions in the very near future. The major portion of the discussion dealt with the camp ground-trailer park locations. The planning Commission generally felt this was an immediate need and should be studied thoroughly. Some of the suggestion were as follows: i 1. Campground and trailer sites should be located off the main highway. 2. Natural screening on adequate setbacks should be required. 3. Regulations controlling campgrounds and trailer parks should be en acted and enforced by the proper County Agency. 4. Campground and trailer park locations may require separate zoning districts rather than be included within various existing zoning districts. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
